Flow to enable the feature

  1. On the Automated sending page, enable the “show first question in email” option

  • The [%questionnaire%] placeholder also works for in-email question

  • “Preview mode” also works for in-email question

  • Custom HTML invitation email will not be supported for this feature

2. Make sure that the first question on the questionnaire is a rating question (CSAT/CES/NPS)

  • If not - On the email, the button will show up instead of the question view (fallback)

3. Distribution: It will only show for CA questionnaire (distribution to CA questionnaire)

  • If other distribution, the button will show up

Behaviour in details

  1. On the platform:

1.1 Automated sending page:

  • The toggle needs to be activated on the Automated sending page > Edit message.

    • It is available for ALL messages:

      • For “Review invitation message” &
        “Reminder”:

        • The Public review questionnaire is used

        • [%questionnaire%] placeholder acts the same as the button (can be placed everywhere on the message)

    • For other messages:

      • The questionnaire linked to the message will be used

      • [%questionnaire%] placeholder acts the same as the button (can be placed everywhere on the message)

1.2 Survey builder:

  • Must be an NPS, CES, or CSAT question AND first question in the survey

    • If those conditions are not fulfilled, the button will be shown on the survey instead of the question as a fallback.

  • If some changes are made to the questionnaire after some emails were sent out to customers with an in-email question, the question will appear on the email, and the redirects will work.

  • There is a warning message on the questionnaire builder:

2 Email + survey (end-consumer):

2.1 When end-user clicks on a rating:

  • First question is already filled out on the questionnaire

  • Focus is on the second question (or sub-question)

2.2 Design:

Did this answer your question?
